In March of 2020 the robotics center was left as-is and we have not been able to return. Until the time when our State government and the HPS administration determine that it is safe for our roboteers to return we will remain in a holding pattern. I assure you that many of us are ready to move forward but we need to do that safely.
The Hudsonville Robotics leadership is continuing to make plans and we are coordinating with other area robotics organizations and the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (RECF) to discuss different competition models that keep within the CDC guidelines.
I am optimistic and hopeful for a fun new season of robotics. Fortunately the program can scale from individualized learning to an 80 team tournament. There are lots of opportunities to explore STEM and we will move forward once we receive the specifications for learning this fall.
Stay safe everyone.
