The Build Workshop was a big success. This was an opportunity for students to build and program a simple robot and compete in a mock competition. Students learned the basics of assembly and all of the teams successfully built a competition robot. They also experienced the pressure and excitement of match play as each team had 60 seconds to push balls into a hula-hoop.
Now, it’s most likely that they will want to build something more complicated to compete in the 2015 Nothing But Net leagues but many have the basic idea on how to get started.
